Credentialed Evaluators (CEs)

At this year's CES National Conference Francois Dumaine (CES National President) announced the official launch of the Credentialed Evaluator (CE) program. Applications are being taken now.

The designation means that the holder has provided evidence of the education and experience required by the CES to be a competent evaluator.

The designation is based on education, experience, professional competencies and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON EDUCATION: the CE includes evidence of graduate level degree or certificate. If you do not have a graduate level degree or certificate than there is a process to prove equivalency, called a Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR). The PLAR has an additional charge. For one year only (from May 5, 2010 to May 4, 2011) the PLAR process and associated cost is waved for individuals who were "a member in good standing as of June 1, 2009."
For a short summary and links to important pages see the Professional Designation (CE) tab. Additional details and history of the project on the CES National website, on the Professional Designations Program (English) or Programme de Titres Professionnels (French) pages.
