The Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) is a volunteer-driven, professional organization of members who are dedicated to the advancement of evaluation theory and practice. CESBC is the BC Chapter of the CES, also serving CES members in the Yukon. To email someone volunteering with CESBC, remember to change '@...' to @evaluationcanada.ca

Background

CESBC is a chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) - the profession organization for evaluation professionals, students, academics and users of evaluations (such as managers, program staff, planners for nonprofit, social enterprise or government organizations).

CESBC is a member funded, volunteer organization. We work to provide the evaluation community in British Columbia with learning opportunities, networking and resources. We are happy to take advice and organize events that the community suggests.

Vision

Mission

CESBC’s vision is that BC will be a province where evaluation is visible, relevant and supports decision-making.

CESBC will work to increase the profile and use of evaluation by engaging and supporting the evaluation community in BC.

Strategic and Marketing Plan

In 2008, the CESBC undertook member consultations and hired professional planners to develop a 5-year Strategic and Marketing Plan. The Executive Summary of this plan is available publicly. Members may access to whole plan in the CESBC Members Zone.
